Everybody loves football, even robots from the future.
AI robots were spotted hanging out among the crowd at the Week 1 NFL game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Miami Dolphins at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
But in LA, there is always more than meets the eye. These futuristic fans were there to promote a new man against machine movie called "The Creator."

The AI robots were there to promote a new movie "The Creator"
These robots are not actors or people in suits, but they are real characters from the upcoming movie "The Creator." Some were placed on the sideline, others were in the concourse and some simply sat in seats throughout the stadium. While a few were dressed in the famous powder blue of the Chargers, several of the AI robots wore jackets with the name of the movie on the front.
This was not the first time a movie has pulled this kind of marketing stunt at a professional sports game. Horror movie "Smile" sent actors to baseball stadiums last fall sporting creepy smiles to promote the film. More recently, horror flick "M3GAN" used actors for a halftime show at SoFi Stadium in January 2023.
When does "The Creator" come out?
The upcoming science fiction film, to be released on September 29, delves into a conflict between humanity and artificial intelligence. Helmed by Gareth Edwards, known for his work on films such as "Monsters," "Godzilla," and "Rogue One," this cinematic experience serves as a warning about the potential consequences of AI's immense power.
The movie features a talented ensemble cast including John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Allison Janney, and Madeleine Yuna Voyles.
